A bit about me…
I didn’t study design at university. In fact, even while at university, my main ambition wasn’t my degree; I wanted to be a professional athlete.
In 2014, I accepted a scholarship to play competitive tennis at Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. It was my first time in the United States, and Motown would be my home for the next few years.
After not finding the right fit with my degree major at the time (Kinesiology), I made the difficult decision to drop out of university and forge a new career path. This was in 2017, and I have been working to improve as a designer ever since.
I enjoy both strategy and aesthetic when it comes to design, but over the last year have made the conscious decision to go deeper into UX and research. My goal as a designer is to have a foundation strong enough to understand every step of the design process, while leaning towards specialization in user experience.
